She takes you on a journey into the real world of the pageant industry.Princes rogues, millionaires and thieves, all saw her as a trophy. Some were generous, some kind.Others were very cruel.

After winning the “Miss California” crown, her path led Elizabeth to Santiago, Chile. There, she married a man of social prominence and wealth, while watching the newly-elected president, Dr. Salvadore Allende, establish and implement Communism. She saw the pain and sorrow he inflicted on the Chilean people whom she grew to love. She also saw the relentless suppression by his regime of any opposition that threatened his newly-formed government.

Her Chilean family, because of its wealth and influence became a target of the Allende government. This caused her husband to support the resistance.Elizabeth vowed to get her newborn son out of harm’s way.

She overcame numerous obstacles, took desperate risks and managed to escape from Communism on the last plane leaving Chile before the frontiers were closed.

This is her story…
